Join CRI as an Environmental Field Inspector. We are seeking qualified individuals to perform environmental field inspections for various construction sites in Manor / Elgin / Del Valley / Bastrop / Pflugerville and surrounding metropolitan areas. Qualified applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Travis or Williamson county.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Conducting field inspections and audits.
- Developing a working knowledge of Federal, State and local storm water regulations and requirements.
- Documenting findings in established written format.
- Updating inspection site maps.
- Interacting with clients to notify them of inspection findings.
Requirements:
- 4 year Natural Science, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or closely related degree or 3 years of work experience in the Environmental or Construction Industry.
- Use of personal vehicle is required (mileage reimbursed)
- Applicants must complete background check and drug test
- Ability to work some weekends
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Position at $17.55 per hour /$36,504.00 per year/Non Negotiable
Pay increases after successfully passing professional certification exam.

Qualified candidates must pass the online Indeed reading assessment. Candidates who successfully complete the online reading assessment will be contacted to setup a phone interview discuss more detailed specifics about the job. Candidates wishing to pursue this position will be asked to demonstrate their familiarity with Google products (Drive, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets) and will be asked general questions about Android phone/tablet familiarity.
Candidates with degrees will be required to show proof of graduation by presenting a transcript with a degree awarded date prior to the final interview.
The final candidate pool will be interviewed using Google Meet.
The anticipated start date is October 21st, 2024.
