Our Field Technicians are responsible for the testing and inspection of Underground Storage Tanks ensuring the UST system is in compliance with the state’s Environmental Regulations.

About you

- Good mechanical ability and basic electrical knowledge

- Can coordinate effectively between office staff and customers
About the Role
- Daily paid travel in company vehicles to and from facilities throughout MA, RI, CT, NH, and VT.
- This role will start out hourly, first with paid training and shadowing, and will slowly progress from supervised work to fully independent work once deemed fit
- In this preliminary role you will be filling capacity across our various services to support monthly inspections, sump and line testing, and leak detection testing of underground fuel storage tanks.
- If the candidate is a good fit, a salaried role will be offered - leading to further skills training, specialization, and job certifications
- Our Technician will be trained for field execution as needed on the following: Stage 1 Vapor Recovery testing, Tank and Piping Tightness testing, Overfill verification, Certification of leak monitoring equipment, Automatic Line Leak detector testing, Secondary Containment testing, light station maintenance – example; Repair Veeder Root systems, Change filters, replace hanging hardware and more.
Role Requirements
- Must possess a clean driving record and the ability to travel in and out of state with occasional overnight travel at company expense.
- Position requires stooping, bending, kneeling and being outdoors for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must have basic computer skills - able to use an iPad for report entry
- Must be flexible to meet fast shifting customer priorities, expect to support service calls or customer re-visits
- Ability to maintain passing certifications for all required job skills as needed with training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
