What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pressroom Lead position at COMPONENT ENGINEERS INC?
Component Engineers a Central CT manufacturing company with full machining and stamping capability also registered with ISO 13485, AS9100 and ITAR certifications has an immediate opening for a first shift Pressroom Lead. Hours include Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime to be worked as needed to satisfy expanding operating requirements and other needs.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have a High school, technical school, or equivalent
- Strong press background required.
Position Duties:
- Confer with Management or Subordinates to resolve problems or complaints;
- Enforce safety and cleanliness issues;
- Set–up and running of all tooling;
- Supervise the set-up and running of all dies;
- Overseeing loading and unloading of product and material;
- Overseeing all pressroom personnel;
- To be able to fill out all appropriate paperwork;
- Oversee machine maintenance; and
- Training of department personnel.
