What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blending Technician position at Component Repair Management Inc.?
Component Repair is a F.A.A. Repair Station located in Muskegon, we overhaul, and repair components used in turbine and other aircraft engines. One step of our repair process is "Blending", a process that removes material and shapes parts to the original contour. A blender uses a variety of tools including burrs and belts to grind and work access material from a part to make it look new again. This job allows individuals to work sitting down with provided tools, this is an entry level position, and we will train you. Although this is an entry level position, we train to learn a skill more than doing a job, therefore it is important that applicants plan on staying once hired, we are not looking for job hoppers. After training is completed, employees will receive a raise. It is also important that you can commit to contributing to a safe and enjoyable work culture.
Overtime may be available after training.
This is dayshift 7am to 3pm 5days a week, June, July and August will be summer hours M-Th 4 10s.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test along with an eye exam. We are D.O.T. regulated and marijuana is federally illegal therefore it will be part of the drug test.
