Lipsey Logistics is a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a Load Tracking Associate to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of freight.
Job Summary:
As a Load Tracking Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating the successful movement of loads by tracking shipments, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries, maintaining carrier compliance, and supporting our network of transportation providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track all loads from carrier contracting through final delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Dispatch drivers to shippers, consignees, and intermediate stops as needed.
- Document all communications, issues, and service deviations in McLeod software.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance logistics operations.
- Assist in training and developing new employees.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least six months of consistent work experience, preferably in a customer service-focused environment.
- Transportation and freight brokerage experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primarily a sedentary role requiring frequent sitting.
- May involve occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
- Requires grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
