POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join our staff. This position will have room to grow for the right person. We are looking for someone to replace our IT staff member (due to retirement) to provide IT support for our company, to include but not limited to server support, cyber security, VIOP phone systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, and support data and voice infrastructure, including local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), virtual private network (VPN), wireless, and other network components.
- Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems
- Install , configure, and maintain network servers including but not limited to network servers, print servers, and file servers
- Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation to obtain NIST and CMMC standards
- Managing of network security solutions, including firewall, and intrusion detection systems.
- Configure and maintain active directory services, group policies, user accounts for staff and guests
- Maintain archive and backup systems for servers and storage systems
- Configure and support IP phones (Yealink with Microsoft Teams software).
- Trouble-shoot issues with data network or voice systems in use by the company.
- Collaborate with third parties as needed
- Help developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures
- Participate in recommendations for future network/server upgrades.
- NetSuite knowledge preferred but not necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent work experience

- Certifications: MySQL, Cisco Meraki, MCSE and/or other Microsoft certifications strongly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skill
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 3 years of Network Administration experience required.
- Experience with managing and detailed understanding of VoIP.
- Configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Cisco IOS, IOS Licensing, IPv6, VLANs, ACLs, BGP, Netflow, WLAN, LAN and
- WAN.
- Management of Operating Systems - Windows 10 Pro, Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016.
- Project management experience.
- Experience managing ERP systems strongly preferred (Fishbowl, Epic, Etc.)
- Experience managing VOIP Phone system
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $55,000 to $75,000 a year based on experience and education
