We are a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) dedicated to delivering fiduciary advice, personalized planning, and independent investment management. While our foundation is built on fee-only planning, we also offer solutions to support commission-based accounts and insurance services for comprehensive client care. We are looking for an experienced and growth-minded Financial Planner / Wealth Advisor to join our Columbia, MD office. This role involves taking over and servicing a portion of our existing client base, while also bringing over your own clients for continued service under our firm. The right candidate is passionate about building deep client relationships, thrives in a high-integrity team environment, and is seeking long-term partnership potential.
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary advisor for a book of firm-assigned clients, providing proactive planning and regular review meetings.
- Seamlessly transition your existing clients to our platform with full support from our team.
- Build and deepen client relationships through consistent communication, education, and personalized service.
- Maintain detailed client records, workflows, and meeting notes in Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with our operations team to execute client requests and follow-up with precision.
Financial Planning & Investment Advisory
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning, covering retirement, tax strategy, estate planning, insurance, education funding, and more.
- Recommend and implement tailored investment strategies aligned with each client’s goals and risk profile.
- Open and manage accounts through Fidelity and Schwab custodial platforms.
- Facilitate contributions, distributions, account transfers, and related investment operations.
- Utilize AdvicePay for financial planning billing and documentation.
Compliance & Licensing
- Follow all firm compliance protocols and contribute to a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Maintain appropriate state and federal licensing; insurance licensure is a plus.
- CFP® designation is strongly preferred (or actively working toward it).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a client-facing financial advisor.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships independently.
- Existing book of business preferred (support provided for transition).
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience using Salesforce CRM, Fidelity, Schwab, and financial planning tools (e.g., eMoney or similar).
