About Compound Foundry
Compound Foundry is a rapidly growing family of eCommerce home and decor brands—including Painted Paper, Lemon Park, Carbon Designs, Aspen&Arlo, and Anthem. We’re a small, scrappy team working at the intersection of AI, physical production, and smart systems, turning ideas into beautiful real-world products at scale.
This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a startup environment where your work directly powers what we build, how we move, and how we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Build and enhance internal tools, dashboards, and automation systems that support real-world production
- Write clean, maintainable code—primarily in JavaScript, Python, and Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with a tight-knit team to identify problems and ship creative solutions
- Integrate AI and automation into workflows that improve speed, visibility, and decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or coursework in JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL
- Personal, academic, or side projects—we’d love to see what you’ve built
- Curiosity about AI, automation, or how digital tools can impact physical operations
- A self-starter mindset—someone who’s eager to learn, takes initiative, and works well in a fast-paced team
- Open to early-career talent—you don’t need years of experience, just the drive to contribute and grow
Why This Role is Special
- You’ll actually ship tools that make a difference
- Work alongside a small, experienced team where you’ll get hands-on mentorship and real ownership
- Learn how AI and automation are used in real-world, scalable operations—not just theory
- High likelihood of full-time conversion if you join as an intern
- You’ll be part of building something new, from the ground up
