General Description
The Senior Director - Investments reports to the Chief Investment Officer and is a key member of the Compound Planning investment team. As the Senior Director - Investments, you are responsible for supporting the overall design and management of the firm’s investment offerings. This position requires an in-depth understanding of financial markets including experience with both public and private market securities and funds, as well as the ability to clearly communicate investment strategies to Wealth Advisors and clients. You will be an active participant on the Investment Committee, contributing to investment discussions and supporting the execution of Committee decisions, as well as act on behalf of the CIO in his / her absence.
Responsibilities :
- Support the work of the investment team to deliver a world class investment platform, including :
- Identifying, reviewing and recommending investment solutions across both public and private markets.
- Developing and monitoring model portfolios and other value added investment offerings for wealth advisors and their clients.
- Assisting in the formation and communication of the firm’s capital market assumptions and asset allocation recommendations.
- Enhancing and overseeing the due diligence process for investments on the platform.
- Overseeing all investment strategies, including performance tracking and alignment with asset allocation targets.
- Working closely with Trading and Operations teams to efficiently implement our investment platform at scale and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborating with Wealth Advisors, Business Development, Marketing to represent and evolve our investment offerings to scale business growth.
- Engaging with the Legal and Compliance teams to ensure investment choices meet all regulatory requirements.
