Role and Responsibilities
- Front Desk Support Staff: Greet clients/public, answer telephones, schedule & reschedule appointments. Verify demographic and financial information for each visit and update any changes in the practice management system, and answer patient inquiries. Collect payments and inform patient of any remaining balances and give receipt of payment to client. Inform clinical staff of patient arrival.
- Clerical Support Staff: Perform clerical and administrative tasks. Scan all information with accuracy into the electronic medical record and retrieve reports when requested. Must be knowledgeable of the other programs in the office to be of assistance in the event of an absence. Ability to work independently and as a team. Demonstrate good communication skills. Provide client service both in the office and on the telephone with scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School graduate
- Experience with office technology, medical office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, squat, etc. for filing.
Special Requirements
- Excellent typing skills, telephone skills, and data entry skills
- High attention to details, great customer service skills, and interpersonal communication
