What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1099 Nurse Practitioner position at COMPREHENSIVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ASSOCIATES INC?
We are a private practice located in Newark, Columbus, Austintown, Boardman, Warren, Salem, East Liverpool, Alliance, and Steubenville seeking a Psychiatry PA to become a part of our team!
NP will be paid 65% of services billed.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic psychiatric illnesses while providing high quality patient care
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Previous experience in psychiatry
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
