What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position at COMPREHENSIVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ASSOCIATES INC?
We are a private practice located in Austintown, Boardman, Warren, Salem, East Liverpool, Alliance and Steubenville seeking a Psychiatry PA or Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic psychiatric illnesses while providing high quality patient care
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Have 2 years experience working in mental health
- Thorough understanding and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Previous experience in psychiatry
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
On-site Position
Job Type: Part-time (2-3 days a week)
W-2 at $55.00 hourly
1099 at $65.00 hourly
Salary : $55 - $65
