Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, skilled and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. We are a growing office seeking motivated staff members who take initiative to go above and beyond for our patients. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the chiropractor in various administrative and clinical tasks. If you have a passion for helping others we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Greet patients ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Assist with patient assessments
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Provide support to the chiropractor during patient examinations and treatments
- Perform therapeutic modalities, such as hot/cold packs or electrical stimulation, and ultra sound, as directed by the chiropractor
- Educate patients on exercises or stretches prescribed by the chiropractor
- Assist with Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records as necessary
- Work with the administrative team for billing and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Assist with general office duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing inventory
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to assess patients' needs and provide appropriate care under the direction of the chiropractor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems or willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Formal medical training or certification NOT REQUIRED
- Strong patient service skills and a commitment to providing excellent care
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with patient assessments
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to perform patient intake and maintain accurate records
