Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Provide wound care, suture removal, and other nursing treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with activities of daily living for patients in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, assisted living facilities, and hospice care
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience in acute care, infectious disease care, and medical office settings preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and physical assessments
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new healthcare practices
Job Type: Part-time
