What are the responsibilities and job description for the DX Installer position at Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc?
Summary
The DX Installer will report to the Construction Manager and is responsible for installation of HVAC equipment and refrigeration piping. Incumbent must be able to install systems safely with good craftsmanship and within budgeted man hours.
Essential Duties
- Installation of : HVAC equipment; refrigeration equipment; hanging and brazing refrigeration piping; condensate piping; piping insulation and low voltage wiring
- As a member of the Service Department, conduct all HVACR jobs in a prompt and professional manner.
- Conduct HVAC / R servicing jobs promptly, professionally and efficiently
- Basic computer knowledge being able to input information required to execute your daily tasks
- Conducting non-service work in support of the Installation Departments, as assigned
- Prepare Service Tickets by collecting all required information and signatures
- Willing to conduct non-service related support for the Installation Departments, as assigned
- Perform related duties as directed by the Service Branch Manager
- Demonstrate proper use of Safety Equipment at all times
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Flexibility to work overtime / weekends, as needed
- Flexibility to work out of town, as needed
