Job description
Comprehensive Equipment Management Corporation is looking for a qualified Biomedical / Clinical Engineering service technician to work in a clinical setting providing planned and corrective maintenance on electronic medical devices. Position is in Brooklyn metro area at multiple levels of expertise and experience. All applicants must pass an employment eligibility check and drug testing upon consideration. *Qualifications for Positions
Entry Level / BMET 1
A knowledge and comprehensive experience in techniques, theories and characteristics of electronics and electricity as well as mechanical / repair aptitude (medical device specific training to be provided). Applicant must possess a working knowledge of hand tools and repair techniques.
Experience with medical device repair and/or the medical field is a plus. CEMC will provide on the job training. Experience in repair of other electrical/mechanical devices of other industries may be applicable (examples include but are not limited to; Printer Repair, Electronics Repair, Applicance Repair, Some Automotive Repair, Phone/Tablet Repair, etc.)
The person hired must be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner for a clinical/healthcare environment to include compliance with hospital staff policies and procedures), as well as communicate effectively for department functions.
