This position has the option to work from any of the following four locations, Yakima, Walla Walla, Ellensburg or Sunnyside.

What are we looking for in a SUDP Intake Specialist?
Provides support, intake clinical assessment, diagnostic formulation and initial treatment planning for a variety of populations. Determines level of care requirements using Utilization Management Standards and Processes. Provides substance use disorder prevention intervention, treatment and assistance in case management services. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 9am-6pm.
SUDP Intake Specialist duties may include:
- Demonstrates and utilizes knowledge of development in children, youth and young adults.
- Conducts behavioral health groups following Comprehensive Healthcare’s guidelines and policies.
- Completes all required service notes according to Comprehensive Healthcare’s guidelines, policies and procedures regarding format, content and timeliness.
- Provides a combination of direct service and service coordination, with internal and external resources, to assist the client with achieving identified treatment plan goals.
- Obtains appropriate biopsychosocial information during the assessment, and gathers a substance use history, including prescribed and recreational substances, as well as consequences associated with the progression of substance use.
- Interprets clinical data to establish and substantiate medical necessity and diagnosis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral science or related field
- Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) certification in Washington
- Must be eligible for Mental Health Professional designation
- Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
