Role Summary:
We're seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team in Nevada and positively impact the lives of our clients. At Comprehensive Home Health Solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing individuals' independence and overall well-being within the comfort of their homes.
Requirements and Skills:
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, bending, and providing personal care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping duties.
- Deliver personalized care in accordance with clients' individual care plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises to promote physical well-being.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings as required.
- Document care provided and promptly report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
