Job Summary : As a Sales Consultant at CIP Group, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base and increasing revenue through strategic prospect and client interactions and effective sales tactics. You will be responsible for identifying client needs, delivering tailored presentations, negotiating deals, and managing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
Client Acquisition and Management :
Set up and conduct meetings with potential clients to identify their needs and concerns.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on our products and services.
Lead the negotiation and closure of deals, efficiently handling objections or complaints.
Manage the annual renewal process for key accounts, taking on the role of key client advisor in carrier selection and financial negotiations.
Communicate renewal data to clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Sales Execution and Client Service :
Coordinate with necessary CIP team members to join sales meetings, ensuring a comprehensive approach.
Track sales and financial data in weekly pipeline reports.
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share insights with internal teams to enhance service delivery.
Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with insurance carriers and vendors to ensure optimal results for clients.
Professional Development and Industry Engagement :
Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of insurance coverages, trends, markets, and general industry information.
Attend appropriate industry training and functions to stay informed on best practices and innovations.
Act upon potential selling opportunities and maintain accurate records in the sales management database.
Skills and Qualifications :
Proven experience in sales, preferably in health and benefits or a related field.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently in a paperless, computer / online-based environment.
Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate client needs and propose effective solutions.
