Job Description
The IT Network Administrator is responsible for oversight and direction of the network and server infrastructure. This position is responsible to setup and maintain the network, evaluate server and domain infrastructure and bolster company security. The IT Network Administrator works with the Executive Team and Director of IT, with oversight and input for all IT projects and hardware upgrades.
Responsibilities
Setup and maintain Fortinet equipment - firewalls, switches and access points
Travel onsite to setup new offices - firewall, switches, access points, PCs, laptops, copier, printers, patient vital monitors, medical imaging equipment (US & Radiology)
Conduct annual security audits for all offices; review and evaluate network security; provide recommendations and upgrades as needed
Investigate any reported HIPAA breaches; report to HHS if required
Provide technical support for all end users and endpoints on a daily basis; helpdesk
Setup and manage phone system for all offices
Repair hardware : computers, laptops and servers
Setup medical equipment to PACs image server; light troubleshooting of medical equipment
Provide software support for all line of business programs : Atera RMM, ECW, SIS, Office365, Inteleviewer, Syngo Dynamics, 20 / 20 Imaging, Weave, Quickbooks Online and Desktop
Manage all IT access - create all new accounts and disable all accounts when not needed
Manage local and online server backups in Acronis platform
Manage company websites using WordPress
Distribute Microsoft patches to all endpoints (servers and computers) using Atera RMM software
Oversee IT Projects including software and hardware upgrades
Document IT processes and procedures
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The position requires IT practice operations knowledge typically achieved with a minimum of 3 years experience
Must have experience managing and maintaining Fortinet firewalls, switches and APs
Preferred : Microsoft certifications - Server 2016, 2019
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with staff providers, vendors, providers, and patients.
Strong ability to lead and drive project management.
Must maintain high patient privacy standards and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
