Make a difference as a Preauthorization Specialist
As a Full Time Preauthorization Specialist at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless healthcare experience for our patients. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing documentation from our physicians to align with the needs of payers and verifying the accuracy of diagnosis codes for patient billing. You will engage with patients' insurance companies to pre-certify and authorize vascular procedures, ensuring they get the care they need without delay. Communication is key, as you will update team members and request additional documentation from customers when necessary.
Additionally, you'll tackle denied claims, helping to resolve issues efficiently, and support cash payment conversions with patients. Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

- Minimum 2 years' experience in preauthorization certification
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail

- Must successfully complete CME compliance training as required by CICC.
- BLS preferred

- Must be able to work independently with limited direction
