Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Medical Services Manager to join our Park Place Adult Residential Treatment Facility in Tacoma, WA.

Function: Oversee nursing and medical services to the residents of the Adult’s Residential Treatment Facility while working closely with Psychiatrists and Medical Doctors that provide onsite care. Supervise other medical staff and coordinating all medical services and needs for our residents. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor psychotropic medications. Ensure follow-up on referrals and facilitate continuity of care.
- Supervise Medication Monitors, Medical Assistants, and LPN’s
- Provide activities designed to enhance vocational rehabilitation and socialization skills to consumers.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision for assigned staff.
- Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
- Participate in treatment planning.
- Provide services to ensure continuity of care with residential and community facilities.
- Provide education to facilities, professionals, and other treatment caregivers.
- Maintain clinical records and provide reports in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in meetings and activities as required.
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to increasing competence and knowledge within the mental health field.
- May be required to work evenings and/or weekends depending upon program needs.
- Perform nursing assessments.
- Support medical services in the outpatient clinic and at Park Place.
- Screen potential crisis stabilization referrals for appropriateness of placement at Park Place.
- Coordinate crisis services.
- In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- WA State Registered Nurse or LPN. Significant experience in the provision of psychiatric services, including use of psychotropic medications. One-year relevant experience.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license when driving is necessary; proof of insurance.
