What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Trials Principal Investigator position at Comprehensive Medical & Research Center?
Looking for multiple Principal Investigators (PI) who are specialized and currently practicing in at least one of the following specialties:
- Cardiology
- Rheumatology
- Dermatology
- Orthopedics
- Neurology
- Endocrinology
- Psychiatry
- Gastroenterology
- Hematology
- Ophthalmology
The PI will conduct the clinical trials in accordance with the relevant, current protocols, and supervises the Clinical Trial/ Investigation.
As part of the role, must inform any patients or any persons used as controls, that the research drugs are being used for investigational purposes; and will ensure that the requirements relating to obtaining inform consent and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Also agrees to report to the sponsor adverse experience that occur in the course of the investigation. Must ensure that all associates, colleagues and employees assisting in the conduct of the studies are informed about their obligations in meeting their commitments.
Maintains adequate and accurate patients records and to make those records available for inspection in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
Conducts the Clinical Trial in accordance with GCP, to ensure the safety of the research patients are not compromised.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in clinical research and experience in conducting clinical trials
- Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection methods
- Familiarity with security protocols and law enforcement practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams
- Relevant certifications or training in clinical trials management and compliance
