As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our dental team by ensuring efficient procedures, assisting with patient care, and maintaining organized treatment spaces. You'll also have access to a company-provided vehicle, making travel between locations convenient and manageable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize treatment areas, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures.
- Conduct patient intake and take dental x-rays with proficiency.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of dental treatments.
- Educate patients on procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-operative care.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-up visits.
- Work collaboratively within a mobile team environment focused on providing compassionate care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a dental assisting role is advantageous but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Flexibility to work in various locations throughout Arizona.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided for work travel).
