Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare treatment rooms and ensure the sterilization of instruments.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental x-rays following safety protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in their records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Help manage appointments and schedule follow-up visits for patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver compassionate care and excellent service to patients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification is preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus but not required.
- Proficient knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and terminology.
