Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting in various dental procedures, taking and processing x-rays, and ensuring accurate patient records are maintained. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment spaces and sterilize dental instruments before procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures ensuring patient comfort.
- Take and develop dental x-rays in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation.
- Provide education to patients about preventive care and post-treatment practices.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior experience as a dental assistant is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
