What We Provide

Portable state-of-the-art optometry equipment.

Dedicated assistant for patient care.

Complete administrative support, including scheduling, billing, and supplies.

Schedule

Flexible part-time schedule.

Weekday availability, typically 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM.

1-4 days per month

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Optometrist, you will :

Conduct comprehensive eye exams for elderly patients, identifying conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Prescribe corrective lenses and provide long-term prescription adjustments.

Educate patients on eye care practices, including managing dry eyes, preventing falls, and improving vision-related quality of life.

Collaborate with facility care teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Create a safe, comfortable environment for elderly patients, accommodating their physical or cognitive needs.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have :

A Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.

A current state license to practice optometry.

Experience in providing optometric care to the geriatric population.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
