- Weekday availability, typically 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
- 1-4 days per month
As a Part-Time Podiatrist, you will:
- Deliver expert podiatric care, addressing conditions such as diabetic foot care, bunions, calluses, corns, and ingrown toenails.
- Perform routine foot care services, including nail trimming, corn and callus removal, and preventative care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on foot health, proper footwear, and the prevention of complications.
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for elderly patients, adapting to their unique physical and cognitive needs.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program.
- A current state license to practice podiatry.
- Experience providing podiatric care to geriatric populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with elderly patients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with care teams.
