We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our growing interventional pain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing providers surgery schedules, ensuring efficient patient flow, and providing exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments in a timely manner while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Verify insurance information and ensure all necessary documentation is collected prior to appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update health information management systems as needed.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient care delivery.
- Assist with administrative support tasks related to medical scheduling, including data entry and filing.
- Stay informed about ICD-9 coding practices to ensure proper documentation and billing processes.
Qualifications
- Previous Interventional Procedure Scheduling or in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and medical administrative support functions.
- Strong understanding of patient service principles and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and health information management systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and data security is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.60 - $19.72 per hour
