The Acadia Comprehensive Treatment Center Region 21 operates 10 outpatient opioid treatment programs (OTPs) all across Virginia. Our operation team provides daily oversight and management of outpatient clinics for patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Our mission is to provide full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medications. Our team is the front line of our fight against the opiate epidemic.

The Associate Regional Director is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of a specific group of the Company’s Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTC’s). This includes fostering compliance with clinical and regulatory standards and successful business performance. This also includes direct supervision of Clinic Directors within the specific region.
Your Responsibilties As An Associate Regional Director
- Complies with Opioid Treatment Program Division operating policies and procedures.
- Provides supervision to Clinic Directors within the assigned region as required.
- Acts as an on-site Clinic Director oversight of one facility in addition to Associate RD responsibilities.
- Works closely with Clinic Directors to maintain compliance with national accreditation, governmental regulations, and state operating licenses.
- Responsible for regional CTC performance and quality outcomes management, including client satisfaction with clinic and clinic services.
- Responsible for payer and referral source satisfaction within the regional CTC’s.
- Ensures physical plant improvements and appearance is maintained for all clinics within the assigned region.
- Manages professional development and training for Clinic Directors.
- Achieves Region’s CTC financial results to meet operations budget.
- Adheres to company standards of Code of Conduct & Ethics.
- Responsible for public relations and marketing efforts related to clinic operation.
- Provides all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly written reports to the Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Director.
Your Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing or a clinical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leadership role in a behavioral health, acute care or managed care environment.
- Proven ability to lead successful licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility.
- Strong working knowledge of financial management and business development processes.
- Must be geographically mobile and able to travel.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations.
- Ability to break down complex problems into managable tasks, execute to a solution, and communicate outcomes backed by data.
- Shares crritical information, speaks with honesty, and contributes constructively.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data and information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames with the ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
