CECO - Compressor Engineering Corp - (Located in Southwest Houston) is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Cleaning Technician. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. This position offers attractive hours from 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. (Monday- Friday). POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing a variety of facility cleaning services including: sweeping, mopping, dusting, window washing, trash removal, sanitizing, etc. Manages setup and cleanup of company events and meetings. Performs all work in a safe manner, exercising care in the use of cleaning materials & supplies and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Cleans all work areas including offices, restrooms, break/lunch rooms, and other public areas, including outdoor areas, in accordance with Company standards.
2. Sanitizes high traffic public areas in accordance with Company infection control standards.
3. Tracks and maintains inventory of supplies needed.
4. Stocks and maintains towels, soap and other cleaning supplies in restrooms, break areas etc.
5. Ensures that supplies and potentially hazardous cleaning materials are stored securely.
6. Disposes of trash and waste.
7. Reports maintenance issues to supervisor immediately.
8. Ensures proper usage of supplies and equipment.
9. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School diploma preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one (1) year corporate cleaning experience.
Hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds frequently. Ability to climb stairs and a ladder as required.
