Quicksight BI Developer – Contract to Hire (6-12 month contract)
You'll design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Amazon QuickSight for data visualization and reporting.
What you can expect:
Amazon QuickSight Development 70%
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
- Implement advanced analytics, including calculated fields, parameters, and forecasting.
- Optimize performance and manage SPICE datasets.
- Monitor user access and data source connectivity.
- Work with teams to understand data visualization requirements.
- Provide technical support and training on QuickSight and SQL querying.
Data Engineering, Performance, etc. 30%
- Design and optimize ETL pipelines for data integration.
- Work with Star Schema Data Warehouses to deliver business intelligence.
- Ensure data quality and availability.
- Fine-tune SQL queries and reporting tools for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot data visualization and connectivity issues.
- Stay updated on AWS and data engineering trends.
- Maintain documentation for data models and dashboards.
What we are looking for:
- 3 years of experience building dashboards with Amazon QuickSight.
- 3 years of experience with complex SQL queries for AWS RedShift and other databases.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, Dat set usage, data provisioning, ETL pipelines.
- Well versed with python.
- Experience with AWS services (s3, Redshift, Lambda).
