Job Description:
CompTech is seeking a Business Process Re-engineering Specialist in support of our customer the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The specialist provides facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, and process reengineering across all phases, identifies best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices, and supervises business process reengineers. This role also applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Duties include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements, creating process changes by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted business systems teams, recommending and facilitating quality improvement efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Four (4) years’ experience in business process re-engineering with demonstrated, increasing responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create frequent business presentations. Persuasion skills are critical. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels
- Experience in joint and/or service planning and logistical support.
- Experience with strategic and operational decision making
- Undergraduate degree is required. Graduate degree is preferred
Demonstrated experience with the following duties, responsibilities, and skills:
- Commercially astute with sound decision making, strategic acumen, process improvement and analytical problem-solving capabilities to support joint planning
- Strategic projects involving evaluation, analysis and program management, assessments, implications analysis, options management, issues management, and other related studies
- Provide expert advice, recommendations, and leadership to internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze processes to make improvements and prepare logistics reports for senior decision-makers
- Shape strategies, develop plans, analyze data, and align goals to the agency’s objectives
- Host meetings and working groups to coordinate internal and external requirements
- Draft planning orders, tasks, plans and DLA issuances
- Develop the “plans to plan” and execution of plans, scheduling, and tracking events and milestone completion, scheduling, preparations for key internal and external events

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
