Your Role: As an Account Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the data center market segment. You will identify and qualify leads, prospects, and new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the data center market segment
- Identify and qualify leads, prospects, and new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship building
- B uild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at data center facilities, including C-level executives, IT managers, and procurement professionals
- C olaborate with internal technical teams to tailor data center solutions and services to meet the specific needs of clients
- C onduct product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the value proposition of our data center offerings
- N egotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure win-win outcomes for both parties
- T rack and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to management
- S tay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the data center sector
- R epresent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our data center solutions and establish thought leadership
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree and/or equivalent education and experience; 3-5 years of outside sales experience in either of the following industries: Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of data center critical power and cooling systems; 3-5 years experience working with IT companies, colocations and end users who manage and maintain data center infrastructure
