Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PowerApps Developer to join our Project Management Office (PMO). The selected candidate will be responsible for scoping, designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Microsoft SharePoint and PowerApps to enhance business processes by delivering effective, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Development: Design, develop, and test functional solutions.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions.

• Education: Transfer knowledge to PMO staff for long-term solution maintenance.

• Product Management: Manage multiple applications, including Project and Portfolio Management, JIRA, Power Apps, and SharePoint.

• Project Management: Perform project financial analysis and training.

Expected Solutions:

Solution 1: Document Management System

• A workflow management solution for routing documents (e.g., project change requests) for review and approval.

• Integration with SharePoint, Active Directory, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Solution 2: Project Management Automated Templates

• An application that extracts project management data to auto-fill document templates in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Allows project managers to download pre-filled templates for use.

Each solution must meet defined acceptance criteria and demonstrate quantifiable improvements in operational execution.

Iterative Tasks and Expectations:

• Planning: Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and clear requirements in business processes.

• Scoping: Define measurable objectives, key results, and technical/business requirements.

• Design & Development: Translate requirements into working, unit-tested applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Active Directory, SharePoint, and other necessary tools.

• Testing: Create and execute test plans; troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

• Deployment: Deploy and maintain applications across environments.

• Continuous Improvement: Manage a backlog of defects and enhancements for future releases.

General Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• 8 years of software development experience.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with high creativity and latitude.

• Project Management Experience (Waterfall & Agile methodologies).

• Stakeholder Management experience (Preferred).

• Knowledge of D.M.A.I.C. methodology (Preferred).

• Experience with ITIL Project Management.

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft PL Certification (Preferred).

• Experience in Application UI/UX.

• Familiarity with APIs and Data Querying.

• Experience using Power BI for data visualization.

Candidate Qualifications:

• 7 years of software development experience.

• 5 years of experience with SQL or PL/SQL.

• 5 years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• 5 years of experience integrating Microsoft products (Preferred).

• 5 years of experience with REST/SOAP APIs (Preferred).

• 5 years of experience with DAX coding (Preferred).

• 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Azure (Preferred).

• 4 years of experience with the Microsoft Power Platform Suite (Preferred).

• 3 years of experience in PowerApps development, including scoping, design, development, testing, and maintenance (Preferred).

• 3 years of experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse (Preferred).
