Job Title: ETL Developer
Duration: 5 Months (Tentative)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Summary:
We are seeking an ETL Developer to support data integration projects and enable digital transformation. In this role, you will research emerging technologies, recommend best practices, and collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL solutions while contributing to a learning-focused and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop application architecture documentation to align with system requirements.
- Create design artifacts and support prototyping through Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Deliver high-quality code and assist in peer code reviews to meet design standards.
- Lead validation activities across different testing stages (Functional, Integration, System, User Experience, etc.).
- Support the development of Go Live plans and execute assigned activities.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for post-implementation issues and implement solutions.
- Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and document system functionalities.
- Perform impact analysis for logged issues, prioritize resolutions, and provide production support.
- Lead data integration projects and mentor team members to enhance effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be within commuting distance of Boston, MA, with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week in-office.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience with Informatica IICS ETL.
- Experience with other ETL platforms (SSIS, ODI, CDATA).
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end data warehouse and data mart implementation.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix shell scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
- Experience with Relational, Dimensional, and Unstructured Data Modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile software development frameworks.
