Job Title: Senior Application Architect - PeopleSoft
Duration: 3 Months (Likely to be Extended)

Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT professional to join the Enterprise Application Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical statewide initiatives and collaborate with an exceptionally skilled team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, hybrid architecture (both physical and cloud platforms), and exceptional troubleshooting skills. This role requires working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment supporting enterprise applications, including the HRCMS - Human Resources/Compensation Management System, an Oracle/PeopleSoft HR and Payroll application.
The selected candidate will be responsible for system analysis, design, development, testing, and support, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, design, and develop enhancements for the PeopleSoft HCM application.
Stay updated on new releases, images, tax updates, and patches.
Independently manage tasks end-to-end, from design to production migration, including stakeholder communication.
Handle customer requests promptly within SLA requirements.
Support on-call duties (in rotation) for 24/7 applications.
Ensure compliance with Section 508 Accessibility requirements.
Provide technical support to Business Analysts for production support and new functionality analysis.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure that system implementations meet user specifications.
Advise management on administrative and operational challenges related to system administration.
Required Qualifications:
6 years of experience as a developer working on complex enterprise systems.
Extensive experience querying and optimizing databases.
Proficiency in enterprise development and data warehousing life cycles.
Knowledge of front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience working with collaboration, content management, and testing tools (e.g., Mobius, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Rational).
Expertise in PeopleSoft HCM Module and Oracle/PeopleSoft development tools:
Application Designer
Application Engine
Component Interfaces
SQR
Shell Scripting
Data Mover
Oracle database management (Query tuning, PL/SQL)
Application Change Assistant & Image Development Life Cycle
Knowledge of Informatica IICS development, AWS Redshift Querying, Data Warehousing, Cognos Reporting, Linux shell scripting, and ETL development.
Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service delivery best practices.
Strong ability to self-manage deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team.
Superior problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving technologies.
