Job Title: VxRail Resident Engineer
Location: Patrick Space Force Base, FL
Duration: 12 Months with Extension

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI Security

Position: VxRail Residency Administration

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, review, and manage Dell infrastructure as outlined in the Scope of Work (SOW).

• Handle user requests and manage log file reviews.

• Generate regular operational reports and provide capacity planning support.

• Assist with disaster recovery planning and design.

< class="" data-start="646" data-end="676">Problem Management:

• Isolate and troubleshoot incidents as they arise.

• Provide service incident coordination and open service requests on behalf of the customer.

• Participate in root cause analysis reviews.

< class="" data-start="887" data-end="916">Change Management:

• Assist with software/firmware management and change request implementations.

• Collaborate on solution documentation of policies and procedures with compliance managers and key stakeholders.

• Monitor migration activities and ensure smooth transitions.

< class="" data-start="1199" data-end="1240">Continual Service Improvement:

• Recommend procedure changes to optimize operations.

• Share best practices from other engagements.

• Provide performance tuning recommendations to improve efficiency.

< class="" data-start="1429" data-end="1489">Post-Implementation Planning & Knowledge Sharing:

• Work with customer technical leadership to provide system status updates and discuss architectural strategies.

• Support transition planning with deployment teams.

• Assist in incremental host and network configuration beyond initial deployment scope.

• Conduct knowledge transfer on new technology features, management activities, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Provide recommendations on product enhancements and upgrades.

• Implement Dell System Management Tools.

• Develop Run Books documenting system configuration, access instructions, and best practices.

• Review IT processes and policies (Incident, Capacity, Performance, Change Management, User, and Backup policies) for new solutions and continuous improvement.

• Assist in policy and procedure documentation in collaboration with compliance managers and stakeholders.

• Conduct knowledge transfer to bridge skills gaps and provide technology recommendations.
