Job Summary:
The Staffing Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified candidates for a variety of positions across different industries. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs, and ensuring that the right candidates are matched to open roles. The Staffing Recruiter plays a key role in maintaining a strong candidate pipeline, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing & Outreach:
- Utilize job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and other channels to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for both current and future staffing needs.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific staffing requirements and ensure that candidates meet their needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding staffing updates and new recruitment strategies.
- Screening & Interviewing:
- Conduct phone screenings, in-person interviews, and reference checks to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Evaluate resumes, cover letters, and candidate applications to ensure a match with job descriptions.
- Placement & Onboarding:
- Match candidates to job openings based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, and facilitate the offer and negotiation process.
- Assist with the onboarding of new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed and compliance is met.
- Recruitment Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with the team to create and implement effective recruitment strategies that align with company and client goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and employment regulations to optimize recruitment processes.
- Database Management:
- Maintain and update recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate satisfaction to improve processes.
- Networking & Outreach:
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related functions to represent the company and attract candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, community organizations, and educational institutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in staffing, recruitment, or human resources.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and job openings simultaneously.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and candidates.
Preferred:
- Certification in Human Resources or Recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in specific industries (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, technology).
- Knowledge of labor laws and staffing regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
