Entry-level HR Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist Role

Position Summary:
Provides primary administrative support to the Human Resources department and the front desk at the Core Laboratory.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors in the lobby following customer service expectations.
- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing basic office work including filing, telephone and intercom.
- Maintain active employee and benefit files, by filing items in a timely manner and ensuring that terminated employee files are moved to appropriate location.
- Assist Recruiter with new employee orientation paperwork, data entry, and check in process.
- Assist Recruiter with typing tests, appointment scheduling, background checks and offer letters.
- Direct and escalate employee questions to appropriate team member in a timely manner.
- Perform employee password resets for HR systems.
- Support and assist HR Team in projects as needed.
- Promote positive communications with all levels of conduct.
- Daily involvement with confidential information and data.
- Consistently exercise sound reasoning and independent judgment skills.
- Ability to remain flexible with work hours periodically based on department needs
- Ability to prioritize daily work assignments, act independently, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate with integrity and professionalism.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization by performing other human resources duties as needed or assigned.
- High School diploma.
- Experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Must have demonstrated skills in interpersonal communications and problem solving.
- Must have a working knowledge of Windows-based and Microsoft Office software applications.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and data.
- Proven ability to exercise sound reasoning and judgment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
