Part-time or Full-time Evening Shift (11:00am - 7:30pm & 1:30pm - 10:00pm)

Position Summary:
The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures
- Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport
- Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems
- Deliver specimens to testing areas
- Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies
- Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred
- Ability to walk 5-7 miles daily and stand for entire shift
- Exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals
- Adherence to safety, ergonomic, and health policies
- Compliance with PPE requirements in lab or biohazard areas
- Completion of required safety training and health evaluations promptly
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety hazards, promoting safety awareness
