What does your team do: Core goal is to enable data scientists with the technical platforms across Fidelity to iterate and move quicker. If I were a candidate, what would get me excited about this position: Work with cutting edge AI/ML technology
This is the engineering team that builds the platform for the data scientists. This person will not be building algorithms. If they mention in the interview that their goal is to grow into a data scientist they won't get the job.
What are the top three MUST have skills –
- Python software development –
- Packaging and containerizing using CI/CD technology (jenkins docker terraform etc) –
- Experience building (Rest, Flask, or FastAPI) APIs
What are the NICE to have skills: -
Cloud experience (AWS, sagemaker, bedrock, lambda, cloudformation) –
Azure cognitive services -General AI/ML tools experience with (triton inference server, deep java library, huggingface) –
Postgres or DynamoDB
