Role Overview :
The CPQ Developer will join the Global SFDC / CRM / CPQ
Team as an individual contributor to support CRM applications for various business functions, including :
- Field Sales
- Sales Operations
- Marketing
- Sales Management
- Product Management
- Legal
- Finance
The ideal candidate must have :
Extensive experience in the Quote to Cash (Q2C) processAdvanced experience in complex projects and configurationsProficiency in scripting languagesAbility to work independently once provided direction and objectivesThis role involves working with business users and IT team members to configure, design, and deliver solutions that automate sales processes and support Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies .
Responsibilities :
Work closely with business functions to understand ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and project requirementsDocument implementation plans, technical designs, and solutionsIdentify and evaluate best practices for internal and external tools, making recommendations for improvementsStay updated on trends in CRM technology , including new enhancements and capabilitiesDesign and develop configurations and custom applications in a sandbox environmentEnhance commerce pricing / approval functions to support a growing global businessBuild reporting metricsDesign, implement, and support document output from CPQ to meet business and legal requirementsSupport and enhance CPQ integration with Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERPTest and validate functionality and integrity before deploying changes to productionEnsure seamless system integration across platformsKeep CPQ upgraded to the most appropriate versionIncorporate industry-standard user interface designs that are intuitive and user-friendlyDesign data integrity protocols to prevent errors and ensure data qualityMinimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in :HealthcareBusinessComputer ScienceEducationOther relevant fields5 – 7 years of relevant experienceMinimum of 3 years of cloud application experienceMinimum of 5 years of Java and scripting language experience (BML experience desirable)Skills & Qualifications :
Deep understanding of CRM and Quote to Cash (Q2C) processesExperience with Salesforce.com CRM and cloud applications such as BigMachinesHands-on sandbox and production design & development experiencePrefer experience configuring & supporting Salesforce.com AppExchange applicationsAbility to work cross-functionally across global teams for alignment on Salesforce and supporting systemsStrong knowledge of system infrastructure and master data modelsExperience in migrating designs and data elements from sandbox to productionProficiency in implementing WebService SOAP calls in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) for unique / complex requirementsExperience leading complex system projects and project teamsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologiesAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Certifications & Additional Skills :
