Job Description
We are seeking a Safety Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Issue necessary permits and authorizations for contractor work.
- Perform inspections of safety equipment, including eye wash stations, GFCI outlets, and fire extinguishers.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and corrective actions.
- Assist in the development of Lockout/Tagout Procedures (LOTOPs) and facilitate their implementation.
- Conduct monthly vehicle inspections of pool vehicles.
- Collaborate with EH&S Safety SMEs to implement Corteva Standards.
Requirements:
- Computer literacy.
- Strong desire to work safely and help others do the same.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Safety background, either through degree or experience.
