Overview :
The Field Service Engineer will work independently to provide troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair for Beckman Coulter equipment. This role ensures exceptional and efficient service delivery to customers while maintaining accurate service records and contributing to team objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform troubleshooting, installation, and service repair for mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, and electronic equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure timely resolution of service needs.
- Maintain accurate service logs, customer service records, and internal documentation.
- Manage repair parts inventory and adhere to established cycle times.
- Utilize business tools such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service planning and tracking progress.
- Deliver technical training to customers on products and support newer Field Service Engineers with on-the-job guidance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning service delivery to meet expectations.
- Provide service within an assigned geographic area and travel as required, including occasional overnight stays.
