Job Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will lead the design and deployment of Azure solutions, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems to recommend strategic migrations to Azure, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Cross-functional collaboration is essential, requiring the ability to distill complex technical information into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Provide expert guidance on Azure services, deployment models, and resource optimization to ensure solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and visual aids, including architecture diagrams, solution roadmaps, and technical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with Azure advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform architectural decisions and drive innovation.
- A strong background in DevOps, APIM, Snowflake, and Databricks on Azure is preferred, as well as hands-on experience with Azure.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing intricate cloud architectures on Azure, combined with a profound understanding of its ecosystem, network security, and identity management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture best practices, cost optimization techniques, and proficient use of PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar automation tools.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, along with effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry would be highly beneficial.
Work Setting
- Hybrid model (three days on-site per week in Blue Bell, PA)
