What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Maintenance Technician position at Compunnel Inc.?
Shift M-F 7am-3:30pm
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with quality policy.
- Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.
- Practices safe working habits, follows all safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Reading and interpreting blue prints and equipment schematics
- Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience
Salary : $20 - $21
