What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Molding Operator position at Compunnel Inc.?
The Injection Molding Process Technician is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Injection Molding process in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment.
This position reports to the Process Engineering Technician Supervisor and is part of the Plastics Manufacturing Engineering Team.
Responsibilities :
- Work independently on processes and troubleshoot current production issues related to molded part quality.
- Monitor and report issues with the injection molding process.
- Complete daily standard work to maintain current processing and quality.
- Document new and existing processes.
- Perform DOE (Design of Experiments) and establish new processing windows for plastic parts.
- Provide technical communication to other process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel.
- Maintain process documentation to ensure parts meet company and part print expectations.
