Job Summary :
The Laboratory Technician will apply technical knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and legal requirements to carry out various tasks under direct supervision. This role requires a basic understanding of procedures, techniques, materials, and equipment appropriate to the area of specialization. The technician will resolve routine issues and escalate more complex problems to higher levels. The position also includes data entry and calculation tasks using a PC.
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow established procedures to complete assigned tasks under direct supervision.
- Resolve routine questions and problems related to lab processes, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- Apply basic and some advanced skills in laboratory procedures, techniques, materials, and equipment specific to the area of specialization.
- Utilize a PC for data entry, retrieval, and performing calculations related to lab results and testing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant technical and legal requirements in the laboratory environment.
