Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Narrows, VA 24124
Shift: Monday – Friday; 40hours week; 7:00AM – 3:30PM; Onsite
Pay Rate: $22.75/hr. on W2 (all inclusive)
Job Summary:
- 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process laboratory environment, or hands-on research facility.
- Mechanical acumen and chemical handling experience preferred.
- Employee must be able to work independently with limited instruction.
- Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs and move heavy items with assistance occasionally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support by operating lab pilot-scale mixers, pumps, and tanks according to a provided trial plan or procedure.
- Review of process controls and data for report out and further optimization.
- Effectively communicate data and trial learnings to coordinator for continuous improvement.
- Employee will be expected to use initiative and troubleshooting skills to help identify problems and implement corrective actions.
